A lane of a roadway in the region is closed after a tractor-trailer struck a bridge, causing lengthy delays.

The incident happened in Westchester County on the northbound side of the Hutchinson River Parkway at Weaver Street in Scarsdale just before 7 p.m. Monday, April 17, Westchester County Police said.

The incident has caused the closure of the right lane, causing gridlock in the area.
